Sanden
A lovely south-facing bathing spot in the small charming community of Sanden in the inner St Anna archipelago. Thanks to its sheltered location, the water here reaches good bathing temperatures early in the season.

The bathing area offers a fine-grained sandy beach, grassy areas, a jetty from which you can dive, dry toilets and a nice barbecue area with a roof and benches. If you want to do some more strenuous activity between swimming adventures, there is a beach volleyball court right next door.
The sand is best reached by boat from Hulvik, as it is only a short trip across Korsfjärden, about 2 nautical miles or ten minutes. By car, it’s a longer trip, about 45 km and as many minutes. Perhaps in combination with a visit to Sankt Anna church ruins and the restaurant at Lagnö bridge?

If you come by sea, moor at the guest jetty in Sanden, about 250 west of the bathing area. Go west of Holma island. Just by a building with a big sign ‘Sanden’ there is a public jetty. See the picture at the top.
