Uvmarö harbour restaurant

Just across the waters on the island Stora Finnö you’ll find Uvmarö harbour. An old warehouse is refurbished to a restaurant and cafe, overlooking the marina.

A short boat ride across Finnfjärden to Norra Finnö and Uvmarö harbour you will find Magasinet. Good, local food on the menu. Well worth a visit. It is also possible to get there by car, but it will be a little longer, 5 miles, 50 minutes.

The old granary from the Herrborum estate in Sankt Anna has been dismantled into over 600 parts and given new life in Uvmarö Harbour. Right next to the water, it is now being filled bit by bit with new content. Here you will find a farm shop with products from Missjö Gård, such as lamb, beef, furs and yarn. A café with homemade cakes, bread and ice cream.

The meat dishes served in Magasinet are from our own animals on Missjö farm. The farm is run entirely in organic production. The animals are raised on natural pastures on many different islands in Sankt Anna. The winter feed is taken from small fields on Norra Finnö. The result is care and maintenance of the cultural landscape of the Sankt Anna archipelago and unique food on the plate. The grazing animals are Dexter and Highland Cattle and the sheep are purebred Gotland sheep. All breeds have rather slow growth. Together, this creates the best conditions for meat of the highest quality.
